Spooky Season Front Porch

With October’s arrival, I love to add a few Halloween touches to my décor. I am not one to go all out on spooky season, but I want to be a bit festive for my trick-or-treaters. This means my front porch gets the most attention.

I recently had the house pressure washed, and this was a fantastic decision. I’ve never lived in a brick home, and the brick was very grimy. The “softwash” did exactly what I hoped it would…returned the brick to its original red tone and got rid of buildup and dirt. So my spooky season front porch is poppin’ now! Next up…repainting the front door and shutters.

Target always has really cute Halloween décor so they are my go-to when I’m ready to update what I have. I found an adorable black twig wreath with deep purple velvet bow and a fun skeleton that hangs by the door to treat the little gremlins.

I cannot keep a potted mum alive to save my life so I sprang for some artificial ones. I added some bats and a large spider that I already had. The final finishing touch are my favorite terracotta jack-o-lanterns from Mud & Rust out of Georgia. They have an Etsy shop, and if you want to buy some, click on the image to go to my LTK post! I found battery-operated “pumpkin lights” that are much safe than a real candle.

I think it turned out super cute!
