Easy Desserts for Entertaining

I’m a really good cook. If I do say so myself. But, I’m not much of a baker. So I tend to opt for easy desserts when hosting friends. And I like to make them sized just for one person — to me that feels a little more special for some reason.

Here are a few of my favorite “recipes.”

  • Individual dessert shells (Sponge/Angel Food) topped with fruit of choice and extra creamy whipped topping

  • Vanilla Bean “Petite Pots” (a creamy French single serve dessert) topped with caramel sauce and flaky Maldon salt

  • Individual “Fruit Pizzas” — pre-made sugar cookies with whipped topping as sauce topped with fruit and caramel sauce
